Here are some more pictures from the Digital Wedding Forum 2008 Convention in Tampa Florida. These are still from my point and shoot because the 30D was broken and didn’t go to Florida. Luckily – the 30D is all fixed and back home, ready to work! 🙂

I’ll start out with a picture from a new friends blog, this is from Wes and Danielle Hope from Tennessee. We went out to lunch together in a group to discuss what it’s like to be parents and photographers. we were supposed to have a big group of photographers joining us, but it turned out to be more of an intimate lunch with Lisa and Jason, also from Tennesee.

Here we are feeding the parking meter after finding a parking space for the Imaging USA tradeshow, where I got lost somewhere between WHCC and the Shootsac booth 🙂

Back to the classroom….
One of the coolest speakers at the Convention was Jesh DeRox. This is one cool cat. The first note I took in his class was this: “Being able to unlearn is just as important as being able to learn.” I love the way this guy thinks.

Jesh was the only speaker I saw all week who actually gave hugs on the way out of his seminar.

Then we headed off to the Florida Aquarium for the annual DWF party.

Coolest bar backdrop ever!

I attemped a self-portrait with some of the fish…. Turned out to be a picture of myself with seaweed….

The jellyfish were AWESOME!!!

I could have spent the whole night taking pictures of the jellyfish, but I managed to squeeze in a few GraphiTinis too…

The pics of the jellyfish are exquisite, Kelly. And I don’t think I have ever heard of “GraphiTinis” before, but they are gorgeous.
