Congratulations on your recent engagement! It is such a fun (exciting/crazy/overwhelming/awesome) time! I am so honored that you are considering Kelly Vasami Photography for your wedding day. Choosing the right wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions you'll make while planning your wedding, and I'm sure you have many questions. I'm here to help you make an informed decision, but I also want to make the entire process fun for you and your fiancé!
Please contact the studio to learn more about wedding photography collections, and see if your date is still available. I would love to set up an appointment for you and your fiancé to view my portfolio in person, get to know me and my work a little better, and discuss the wedding coverage options that are available.
All wedding collections include:
- Kelly Vasami as your main photographer
- additional coverage by the studio's associate photographer
- at least 8 hours of wedding day coverage
- an online gallery of images
- digital files with rights to print & share online
Engagement portrait sessions are included in some wedding collections, or may be added on to any wedding collection for an additional charge. Engagement portrait sessions can take place at your favorite park, or any location that's special to you as a couple.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What is your style?
A: I strive to create timeless, authentic and natural wedding photography for my clients. By establishing a relationship with my clients before the wedding day, I am able to capture their true personalities, which shine through in the final product. I quietly observe the wedding day as it unfolds, unobtrusively capturing your moments, rather than scripting them. I photograph you in the most beautiful light possible, literally and figuratively. My ultimate goal is to create gorgeous, everlasting, and creative images that become artwork in your home and, ultimately, treasured family heirlooms.
Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
A: I aim to make the entire experience of wedding photography - from our very first phone call, to the moment when I hand over your completed wedding album - a completely positive and enjoyable experience. It's not enough to just produce beautiful images for my clients, I want them to have fun while doing it! Many of my clients first describe themselves as "camera shy", and I know it can be intimidating to be photographed over and over on your wedding day. I find that by getting to know my clients - what makes you smile, what gets you to laugh naturally - I am able to produce warm, natural heartfelt genuine images that are actually fun to create!
Q: How long have you been a wedding photographer?
A: I have been photographing weddings professionally since 2006, when Kelly Vasami Photography, LLC was formed.
Q: Can you hold our wedding date?
A: To reserve Kelly Vasami Photography for your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer of $1500 and a signed contract is required. Once a contract has been signed and a retainer has been received, the date is all yours and I will turn away all other offers for that entire weekend.
Q: Will you be photographing more than one wedding on our weekend?
A: No way! To ensure the best possible service and attention to my clients, I only photograph one wedding per weekend.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I use top-of-the-line Canon professional digital SLR cameras and lenses. I bring backup cameras, lenses and flashes to every wedding in the unlikely event of an equipment malfunction. I shoot with wide-angle, zoom, telephoto, macro, fish-eye and prime lenses. I'm always prepared for any lighting situation.
Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
A: Yes, they are some of my most popular products! Gift certificates come beautifully wrapped, tied with a bow, and ready to give to the new mom, the newly engaged couple, or your favorite family.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Major credit cards, checks and cash are happily accepted. I will gladly set up a payment plan that is convenient for you.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes. All aspects of my business are fully covered to protect myself, my clients, my equipment, and the venues in which I photograph. I am happy to provide my insurance certificate to your venue by request.
Q: Do you photograph kids or families too?
A: Yes, I love when my wedding clients return to me after their wedding for maternity portraits, newborn sessions, or family portraits! My portrait work can be seen at www.KellyVasamiKids.com.
